Derby Disabled Angling Club was formed on the night of 24th July 2008 It was a great evening and very well attended. The Guinness flowed well. We are using the William Caxton public house in Sunnyhill, Derby as our headquarters and we are very gratefull to the landlord for allowing us the use of his pub.
A constitution and club rules was done and match rules sorted. It was agreed that subs will be £10 a year but will be reviewed at the Clubs A.G.M.

The committee is

JOHN STARTIN - CHAIRMAN
BARRY VOLLEY - VICE CHAIRMAN
DAVE WRIGHT-TREASURER
PENDING - MATCH SECRETARY
NIGEL BUTLER - HEAD BAILIFF.
KEITH HAYNES - COMMITTEE MEMBER (ELECT)
ALAN MORTON - COMMITTEE MEMBER.

We are having our own website (not a free one) which should soon be up and running. Matches will be ongoing in the winter months as well as summer.
We are also aiming for about 20% of the membership to be able bodied to join us as helpers who as well as fishing the matches will be able to assist in getting tackle to bankside for those who cannot manage

The Chairman would like on behalf of D.D.A.C. members thank those members who have joined the committee to make this a successful club.

UP DATE

The members of D.D.A.C. have asked the committee if the club headquarters could be moved. It has now been arranged that the NEW HEADQUARTERS IS THE GREYHOUND, VILLAGE STREET DERBY. We can do fun days ect for charity.

I on behalf of the committee and members of D.D.A.C. would like to thank Steve and Dale at the Greyhound for allowing us to use their facilities.

I would like to thank James and Kim the previous Tenants for allowing us to use the Caxton
